Minnesota woman's obituary says 'World is a better place without her'

An obituary for a Minnesota woman who died last month started off normal but then took a turn for the worst at the end.

Kathleen Dehmlow died on May 30 at 80 years old, according to the obituary.

It started off with nothing out of the ordinary. It included her name, her birth date, who she married and more.

Around the fourth paragraph, things start turning.

"She abandoned her children, Gina and Jay who were then raised by her parents in Clements, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schunk."

The final paragraph really hits hard.

"She passed away on May 31, 2018 in Springfield and will now face judgement (sic). She will not be missed by Gina and Jay, and they understand this world is a better place without her."

pale  I've told each one of my children to never think of me - now or after I'm gone - as belonging on a pedestal because I don't belong on one.

I feel my greatest achievement in life has been to raise every one of my children to walk in truth and love the Lord. We have blessed assurance that we will be together again in the afterlife.

I don't expect to be idolized. But I do hope they at least remember me with a little fondness and not be glad I'm finally gone.
