The raccoons have got to go!

Post  Psycho144 on Thu Feb 22, 2018 9:09 pm

This is becoming more evident (of what we did not know, but only suspected!) every passing day!
"I love my country. It's the government I fear!"
Like many citizens, I've wondered and tried hard to understand why Trump has such a remarkable following. (It's obvious why he probably should not!) Then a friend sent me this raccoon story. It makes no difference about your political leanings, this is just a good explanation of WHY... (or it's as good as any I can come up with).

If you really want to know how the majority of people feel? And this applies to both democrats and republicans, read below, it says it all.

You've been on vacation for two weeks, you come home, and your basement is infested with raccoons. Hundreds of rabid, messy, mean raccoons have overtaken your basement. You want them gone immediately. You call the city, 4 different exterminators, but nobody can handle the job. But there is this one guy and he guarantees you to get rid of them, so you hire him. You don't care if the guy smells, you don't care if the guy swears, you don't care if he's an alcoholic, you don't care how many times he's been married, you don't care if he voted for Obama, you don't care if he has a plumber's crack, you simply want those raccoons gone! You want your problem fixed! He's the guy. He's the best. Period !

Here's why we want Trump, yes he's a bit of an ass, yes he's an egomaniac, but we don't care. The country is a mess because politicians suck, the Republicans and Democrats can be two-faced & gutless, and illegals are everywhere. We want it all fixed! We don't care that Trump is crude, we don't care that he insults people, we don't care that he once was friendly with Hillary, we don't care that he has changed positions, we don't care that he's been married 3 times, we don't care that he fights with Megyn Kelly and Rosie O'Donnell, we don't care that he doesn't know the name of some Muslin terrorist.

This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegals, we are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom, Ricardo, and Hasid is a special group with special rights to a point where we don't even recognize the country we were born and raised in; "AND WE JUST WANT IT FIXED" and Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what the people want.

We're sick of politicians, sick of the Democratic Party, Republican Party, and sick of illegals. We just want this thing fixed.Trump may not be a saint, but he doesn't have lobbyist money holding him, he doesn't have political correctness restraining him, all you know is that he has been very successful, a good negotiator, he has built a lot of things, and he's also not a politician.  And he says he'll fix it.

And, we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and called a liar. Also, we don't care if the guy has bad hair. We just want those raccoons gone, out of our house, NOW.

You are welcome to pass this on. I feel this is why thousands of people who haven't voted in 25 years are getting involved. The guy is no dummy. He’s a red blooded American. And against truly unbelievable resistance from the entrenched political Establishment, the Mass Media, the do-gooder “Socialist Progressives” and the fat cat bunch that have have been lining their pockets for years with our tax money under the guise of Political Correctness ...he’s worked hard as hell to accomplish exactly what he said he would do…and getting it done. Progress. Something new for Washington, DC.

All true.

But what's also true is he's fixing the exterminator problem.

We've had the animal control people (city councilmen) come over for years. They tell us they can fix it when they get there. But when they leave all they've done is let the problem grow worse and blame us for it.

We've tried getting the bosses of the animal control people (mayors) to do something about it. All they did, though, was take money from the raccoon-preservation lobby and help get more animal control people to work alongside them to blame us and threaten us for bothering them with it all of the time.

So we called in the exterminators (the statewide politicians). They talked with the animal control bosses, took money from the raccoon-preservation people, lobbied the national chain professionals (the national politicians) for more money to get even more animal control people in who won't solve anything, and left what they implied would get rid of the raccoons, but actually ended up feeding them and making their population skyrocket.

The useless extra animal control people don't have anything to do, so they start patrolling neighborhoods, and next thing you know everybody's getting citations for letting their dogs roam free when neighborhood kids, the meter reader or the postman leave the gate open. But none of those whose job it is to fix the original problem even so much as mentions the raccoons that have gone from the basement to every basement in the neighborhood, to all of the attics and eaves in all of the houses. And, in fact, if we do get their ear for a moment they start calling us "raccoonphobic" and threaten us with legal action for trying to violate the rights of the raccoons to live among us.

So we called in the national chain exterminators directly. They billed us 3 times as much (taxes) as the local professionals, then wrote laws saying it was under the jurisdiction of the animal control people and their bosses. Oh, and accepted money from the raccoon-preservation lobby because they did such a swell job of fixing everything.

So along comes Trump. He's not an exterminator, but he knows what their job is. He's not animal control, but he knows they've basically done nothing for ages. He's never done any of their jobs. But he knows they haven't either.

So he shows up with traps. Not raccoon traps. Lazy, irresponsible pest controller traps. He sets those traps with the lazy irresponsible pest controllers standing right there with him. He talks nice to them. Tells them they can make deals with him that they'll like. He basically lulls them into positions where they all believe he doesn't know what he's doing. So they relax and let their guard down. He tricks them into thinking they're going to get everything they want out of him, that they won't have to change anything and can keep getting away with doing nothing. They relax so much that their lips get loose. They over-promise. They let slip some of the things you already know about them, but they never openly say about themselves.

Then he springs his traps. He nabs them with their own admissions of incompetence. He causes them to expose themselves, openly, publicly. He does it in a way that shows everybody around that they know what they should be doing with admissions they've been refusing to do them. Out of shame and humiliation, some of them begin to do their jobs.

But most don't. Instead they concoct plans to undermine the guy who tricked them into cornering themselves. In the process we start learning about the raccoon-lobbyist money they've been taking, the collusion they've been involved in where they tried criminally stopping anybody from ever learning their deeds.

Not a problem for the non-exterminator Trump. He sets some more traps and lets the worthless people we've hired in the past guide themselves into those, too. So those things we didn't know start coming to light and exposing their corruption.

It's incumbent upon us that we take the next step and rid ourselves of the lazy, irresponsible, worthless, phony exterminators (RINO and liberal alike). Replacing them with people (mostly conservative, but including those who may be a little bit more liberal and are still totally committed to the rule of law) who are dedicated to not only getting rid of the raccoons, but hellbent on keeping them from slipping back in.

At least, that's how I see it.

The American Dream is to be Donald Trump.
