Poll: Americans 'Overwhelmingly' Believe Obama 'Improperly Surveilled' Trump Campaign

An IBD/TIPP poll shows that “Americans overwhelmingly believe the Obama administration ‘improperly surveilled’ Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.”

Despite the disgraced American media’s best and most cynical efforts to bury the truth, and to even stop the truth from ever seeing the light of day, this poll (and another addressed below) demonstrate that the American people are almost entirely tuning the partisan, mostly-hysterical news media out and looking to alternative media for the truth.

There is simply no other way to explain these poll results, which unambiguously prove that a majority of the public believe the exact opposite of what an unceasing, coordinated media campaign wants them to believe — which is that President Trump colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 campaign and that the heroic FBI is being unfairly smeared by Trump’s eeeevil defenders.

Well, despite more than a year of this relentless propaganda coming from all four corners of the mainstream media’s fabricated reality, here are the results from all four corners of actual reality…

A clear majority of 55 percent believe it is “likely” that the Obama administration “improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.” That includes 31 percent of Democrats, 87 percent of Republicans, and 55 percent of Independents.

A clear majority of 54 percent want a special counsel to investigate “whether the FBI and the Department of Justice improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.” Only 44 percent said no. The partisan breakdown shows that 74 percent of Republicans and 50 percent of Independents want a special counsel — as do a full 44 percent of Democrats.

In this particular poll, one fairly positive result for the FBI and Justice Department is that only 35 percent believe these institutions attempted to outright frame President Trump for colluding with the Russians.

just-released Rasmussen poll, however, shows that a full 50 percent of Americans “believe it’s at least somewhat likely senior federal law enforcement officials broke the law in an effort to prevent Donald Trump from winning the presidency.” Only 40 percent disagree.

Another Rasmussen poll from this week shows that only 42 percent of Americans believe Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election more than the FBI. Moreover, a full 34 percent believe the FBI meddled more than the Russians, while 24 percent are unsure.

In other words, we now live in a country where 58 percent of Americans either believe our own FBI meddled in a presidential election more than a hostile foreign government, or are not sure the FBI did not.

Meanwhile, Trump’s approval rating is running ahead of former-President Obama’s at this point in his failed presidency.

For some reason most of the DemocRATs think they're going to sweep the election this fall. But my analysis is even the Republicans can't be counted on to make that happen. (Not ruling that out yet since Republicans are very adept at destroying themselves, but it's sure getting much more difficult.)

They refused to cooperate with Trump and lost their deal. They went into a shutdown and many people who were for them got mad and started turning. When they screwed the deal up that this was supposed to be about, they alienated a lot of the people they claimed they were doing all of their silliness on behalf. When they didn't cave, some said a bad deal now leaves the door open for a better deal later (possibly correct). When they did cave on the shutdown, the other part that hadn't gotten mad then did get made because they caved (dumb on their part because it makes it much more likely they'll get deported if the DemocRATs hold out).

They sat on their hands during the SOTU. Princess Nancy even scolded one person for standing up for some good news. They sat while the parents of girls killed by illegals were introduced. They sat while good news about black unemployment was announced. They sat when word of an improving economy was stated. They sat for absolutely every bit of good news. Awful visuals for them. They didn't even have to like what was being said about how good things were going. All they had to do was act like they care slightly about America and Americans. They couldn't even do that.

Following that, Botox Lady was willing to stand for 8 hours on behalf of illegals. Bad, bad visuals when the same person was shown over and over refusing to appreciate good news, but was dedicated to a group that isn't even native to this country. Particularly now that a lot of crimes are being attributed to that group that the left had been able to hide.

People noticed. People are still noticing.

A handful in their party realizes what's happening to them. Those are the people the DNC will most likely not help very much to win office again (of those who haven't already announced they're leaving, which is most of those). Incumbents have an advantage. But it doesn't do them much good when the party isn't behind them. So those seats stand a good chance of changing hands. Those who have announced they're leaving will probably also go. And likely more.

They think they have it made with Russia and owning the fake news. What I see is a drubbing that they could have overcome if they'd had any sense. (I think it's mostly too late now.) But DemocRAT ≠ sensible.

With more and more news of collusion between FBI and DOJ bigwigs, intentional planting of phony leaks gets exposed and communications between people who worked to undermine Trump before the election and kept trying to do it since inauguration is going to make things almost impossible for them to turn around.

I say "almost impossible" because they can still get a big boost from Republican swamp creatures working hard to give it away.

Few skills are so well rewarded as the ability to convince parasites that they are victims.
