    Solar Eclipse Postage Stamps

Post  Ladyelaine on Sun Jul 09, 2017 9:21 am

Very disappointed in my purchase of the new heat sensitive Forever Postage Stamps which are supposed to change from the dark total eclipse display to a clear bright sun picture when applying the warmth of your finger, then cool down and go back to the dark total eclipse photo. I purchased 5 panes of 16 stamps along with the commemorative protector folders as gifts for my great grand children. None of the stamps will change color.  They just stay that total blacked out sun picture. I must have gotten a batch made with bad ink or else the post office baked them before they reached me.

I sent them back to the post office and described the problem, requested they be exchanged for solar eclipse stamps that change as advertised. They sent me a replacement order. I could not get them to work either, neither could anyone else in my family. I'm wondering if anyone else anywhere has been fortunate enough to get any that do work. I'll just swallow my dis-appointment with my purchase - not asking for another exchange. Crying or Very sad

They were made whilst Obummer was still in office.

    My best explanation.
